Lead Pastor | Shane O'Brien

Shane O'Brien serves as the Lead Pastor of Unify Church. He holds a degree in Ministry and Leadership from Life Pacific University. He was first appointed as the Lead Pastor of a small church in Thousand Oaks in 2024. Together with his wife Karina, they were called by God to bring the remnant of this church with them to start something new. Shane and Karina grew up in Ventura County and met serving at their local church.

They both enjoy TV shows, authentic Mexican food, and sharing in the suffering of being gluten-free. Shane has a broad skillset and extensive experience in many areas of ministry. When he's not pastoring, Shane also works as a multi-instrumentalist and music producer. His faithful and long-suffering character are exemplified by his deep commitment to Notre Dame football and the Minnesota Vikings.
